  3. Heat some oil in a wok or pan and stir-fry the chopped onion and green bell pepper until they are soft.
  4. Add the soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar and stir well.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the water and cornstarch to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the wok and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the fried mushrooms to the wok and stir well to coat them with the sauce.
