Pizza Without Oven or Tawa Pizza recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped vegetables (onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Slowly add the warm water and mix until the dough comes together. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. Take a non-stick skillet and heat it over medium heat.
  5. Roll out the dough into a circle on a floured surface. The thickness should be about 1/4 inch.
  6. Carefully place the dough onto the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until it starts to puff up and the bottom becomes golden brown.
  7. Flip the dough over and spread the tomato sauce on top, leaving a little bit of space around the edges.
  8. Add the grated cheese, chopped vegetables, oregano, and olive oil on top of the sauce.
  9. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade skillet pizza!

Note: You can also use a lid from a pot or foil to cover the skillet if you don't have a lid for your skillet.
