Ingredients:
- 8 oz. chow mein noodles
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. ginger, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup snow peas
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
- In a wok or large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the onion and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until it begins to soften.
- Add the bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, and snow peas and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to the wok and stir to combine.
- Serve hot.
