Veg Cutlet Recipe or How To Make Vegetable Cutlet
Ingredients:
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as potatoes, carrots, green peas, beans, etc), boiled and mashed
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp amchur powder (dry mango powder)
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed vegetables, onions, coriander leaves, breadcrumbs, corn starch, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, garam masala powder, amchur powder, and salt. Mix well to make a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into cutlets or patties.
- Heat a non-stick pan and add oil. Shallow fry the cutlets on medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.
