Kadai Mushroom Recipe Restaurant Style
Kadai Mushroom is a popular North Indian dish made with mushrooms, spices, and bell peppers. Here is a recipe for making Kadai Mushroom Recipe Restaurant Style:
Ingredients:
- 250g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a kadai or wok over medium heat.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add the tomatoes and sauté until they turn soft and mushy.
- Add the bell pepper and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until they release their water and start to brown.
- Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup of water, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mushrooms are cooked through.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
Note: You can also add some other vegetables like capsicum, peas, carrots or even paneer to make it more nutritious.
