Aloo Tikki Recipe step by step
Ingredients:
- 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup boiled green peas
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped green chilies
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, green peas, corn flour, ginger, green chilies, cilantro, and salt.
- Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into round patties (tikki).
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the tikki in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the tikki from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the aloo tikki hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney. Enjoy!
