Fish Fry Recipe


  • 1 lb of fish fillets (any firm white fish like Tilapia or Cod)
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

  1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat them dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Dip the fish fillets in the flour mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Carefully place the coated fish fillets in the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fish from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges and enjoy!

Note: You can also add some ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, or other spices to the flour mixture for additional flavor.
