Veg Paneer Parcel Recipe
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1/2 cup of warm water (or as needed)
For the filling:
- 1 cup of crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1 cup of finely chopped mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc)
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Instructions:
- To make the dough, in a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Mix in the oil until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Slowly add water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and pliable. Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- To make the filling, heat a pan over medium heat and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped vegetables and sauté until they are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the crumbled paneer, cilantro, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8-10 equal-sized balls.
