  1. Drain the soaked moong dal and grind it to a coarse paste.

  4. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small pakoras or fritters.
  5. Carefully drop the pakoras into the hot oil and deep fry until they turn golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
