Ingredients:
- 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the onions and cook until they turn translucent, stirring occasionally. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, and stir well. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are fragrant.
- Add the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the heavy cream and stir well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens again.
- Add salt to taste and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves
- Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
