No Oven Atta Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp milk powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Milk, as needed
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, powdered sugar, ghee, baking powder, baking soda, milk powder, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the ingredients well until it forms a dough.
- Gradually add milk to the dough, as needed, to make it smooth and pliable.
- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out the biscuits.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, and place the cut out biscuits in the pan.
- Cook the biscuits for about 2-3 minutes on one side, until the bottom is golden brown.
- Carefully flip the biscuits and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Remove the biscuits from the pan and let them cool completely before serving.
- Serve the atta biscuits with a cup of tea or coffee.
Note: You could roll the dough out as thin as you want and shape them in your desired shape, you could also add nuts, seeds or dried fruits to give a more flavorful touch.
