Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves

Instructions:

- Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Return the soup to the pot and heat over low heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, stir in the heavy cream and heat until warmed through.
