Veg Noodles Recipe
Vegetable Noodles is a popular Asian dish that is easy to make and can be customized with your favorite vegetables and seasonings. Here's a recipe for making Vegetable Noodles at home:
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. noodles of your choice (such as lo mein, udon, or rice noodles)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, and onion)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, rinse with cold water and set aside.
- Heat a pan or wok over high heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the ginger and garlic and sauté for a few seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, or until they are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sauce to the pan and stir to coat the vegetables.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are heated through.
- Turn off the heat and add the green onions.
- Serve hot and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
- You can add or substitute vegetables of your choice, also you can use any kind of protein such as chicken, shrimp or tofu to make it more filling. You can also add chilli sauce or chilli flakes to give it a spicy flavor.
