Stuffed Mango Kulfi (Delhi Style)


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of mashed ripe mango
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of saffron strands
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (such as pistachios, almonds, and cashews)
  • 10-12 mango slices (optional)
  • 10-12 ice cream sticks or popsicle sticks

Stuffed Mango Kulfi (Delhi Style) 2023


Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and condensed milk until well combined.
  2. Stir in the mashed mango, cardamom powder, saffron strands and chopped nuts. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small paper cups.
  4. Insert the ice cream sticks or popsicle sticks into the center of the mixture and freeze for about 4-5 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once frozen, unmold the kulfi and place the mango slices on top (if using)
  6. Serve the kulfi immediately or store in the freezer for later.

Note: You can use different fruits like strawberry, lychee or mango to make a different flavor of kulfi.
