Instant Potato Chips | Aloo Chips 


Ingredients:

  • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp chaat masala (optional)
  • Oil, for frying

Instant Potato Chips at home 2023

Instructions:

  1. Peel the potatoes and slice them very thin, about 1/8 inch thick, using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Drain the water and pat the slices dry with a paper towel.
  4. In a mixing bowl, toss the potato slices with salt, red chili powder, and chaat masala (if using).
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Carefully add the potato slices to the hot oil and fry them until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve the instant potato chips warm and enjoy!

Note: You can add different spices to give a more flavorful touch to the chips, like cumin powder, black pepper, garlic powder, or any other seasoning of your choice.
