Dahi samosa chaat recipe
Dahi Samosa chaat is a popular street food dish that combines crispy samosas with tangy and spicy chutneys, yogurt, and various other toppings. Here is a recipe for making Dahi samosa chaat:
Ingredients:
- 6-8 samosas (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup mint chutney
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the samosas in the oven or in a pan until they are crispy and golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, yogurt, tamarind chutney, mint chutney, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Place the heated samosas on a plate.
- Spoon the yogurt mixture over the samosas.
- Garnish with sev (crushed gram flour noodles), more finely chopped onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and a sprinkle of chaat masala.
- Serve the samosa chaat hot.
Note: you can also add other toppings like pomegranate, boiled chickpeas or potatoes, boondi, etc.
