Coconut ladoo recipe with condensed milk


Coconut Ladoo (Coconut Balls)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of shredded coconut
  • 1 cup of condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons of ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • 2-3 drops of orange food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the shredded coconut and roast until it turns golden brown.
  2. Add the condensed milk and cardamom powder to the pan and orange food coloring mix well.
  3. Cook the mixture for about 5-7 minutes or until it becomes thick and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Once cooled enough to handle, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small balls or ladoos.
  6. Roll the ladoos in chopped nuts or desiccated coconut (if using)
  7. Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
  8. Enjoy your delicious and easy-to-make coconut ladoos

Note: You can also add some cocoa powder or food coloring to give it a different color, or add some other ingredients like choco chips or dry fruits for added flavor.
