 Chilli Potato recipe


Ingredients:

  • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into wedges or small cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, soy sauce, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the potato wedges/cubes to the flour mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai for deep frying.
  5. Carefully drop the coated potato wedges/cubes into the hot oil.
  6. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove them from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favourite dip or chutney.
