  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt or cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, and green cardamom pods and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.
  2. Add the grated ginger and garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped onions to the pan and cook until they are golden brown.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they are soft.
  5. Add the red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala to the pan and stir to combine.
  6. Add the boiled potatoes to the pan and stir to coat them in the spice mixture.
  7. Add the water and salt to the pan and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened.
